Jobs:Click Here for the Ultimate Mafia Wars Blueprint

There are 123 jobs in total in  Mafia Wars. These range from Street Thug, Hitman all the way through to El Cacique which have to be carried out in sequential order as you progress.

It is a good idea to spend 2-3 experience points that you are given when levelling up on Energy. This will allow you to complete higher energy jobs or a greater quantity of jobs. In short you will get through each Mafia wars level quicker.

As you get through each of them the level of skill required increases thereby readily equipping you to be on your way to becoming a bonafide Godfather.

Other aspects to carrying out various jobs are that there are cash payouts, loot and you get to expand your horizons by exploring more of the game.

Fights:

Fights are a core part to gaining experience and ruling your neighbourhood.
There is no gangster in history that hasn’t been infamous for their violence.

Within Mafia Wars there is definitely a blueprint for winning fights. It’s a combination of the number of members in your Mafia family, attack skill, defence skill and weapons / vehicles available. A good balance is essential to get through each Mafia Wars level.

Make sure you size up your victim before attacking. Just remember not to attack the same player too many times as you’ll end up being hitlisted which has the adverse effect of being prone to attacks and subsequently dying. Each time you die you lose experience points (in the region of 6) – slowing progress to the next level.

Something else that you need to realise is that your character can be attacked when you are offline so a good tip is to have your character hospitalized before logging out.

Also remember to help out your Mafia family when they need it. By doing so, you gain experience as well as cash, not to mention having the knowledge that others have your back.

I’ve found that after reading the Mafia Wars Blueprint guide there is a definite technique and strategy to fighting and in particular, building up your Mafia family quickly. I strongly recommend this guide if you want to progress fast through each Mafia wars level.

Boss Fights:

This is possibly the best way to test your Mafias strength – take on a Boss.
This will involve various bouts of fighting with rival gangsters and the toughest cops, where you will make the call on whether you retreat or attack. Once a side’s health hits zero or they make a run for it they lose. Be careful though – if you lose to a Boss you’ll lose Risk. However on the flip side, if you take on a Boss with a higher risk there is a greater opportunity for reward. That being said, Bosses are more difficult to take on but the gains in experience and cash are definitely worth taking a chance.

To get to the next Mafia wars level taking on a Boss is key. Within the first 4 job tiers there are 4 bosses:

  • Giancarlo Morillo
  • Detective West
  • Luis Castana
  • Agostino Cleto

Each Boss will need to be taken on with at least 20 % total energy. Giancarlo Morillo will have to be taken on with 2 Mafia members and then this number doubles with each Boss faced. Specific weapons are also required to accomplish each job.
To assist with taking down the Boss you’ll need to make use of consumables which are specifically used for Boss fights.

Consumables include:

  • Stun gun
  • Getaway driver
  • Shiv
  • Health kit

Hopefully this has given a bit of insight into how to approach each Mafia wars level. If you are looking for a good in-depth guide into specific strategies again I highly recommend Dominate Mafia Wars – definitely a huge help.
