Energy is one
of the most important aspects in dominating Mafia Wars as it
directly affects your ability to do jobs.
If you’re just starting to play Mafia Wars the best
character to choose if the ‘Maniac’ as this class recovers
energy faster than the other characters in the game. In the
beginning it may seem that choosing one of the other classes
which have the benefits of allowing you to earn more money and
health might be better.
However, mafia
wars energy is what allows you to complete jobs and is
essential for your progression through the
game.

Energy Tactics:
As you progress through the game you will start to earn
Godfather points. My best suggestion would be for you to put
all your initial Godfather points into mafia wars energy. This
allows you to level faster. You may be attacked quite a bit but
you don’t really have a lot to lose at this stage and its quite
likely that many players will choose not to rob you as you want
have much cash yet. Jobs will be your main source of money and
experience and because these will be limited by energy, by
increasing your energy recharges you can seriously increase
your ability to complete jobs faster. Your energy will re-fill
faster allowing you to complete more missions per day, which in
turn will allow you to level up faster.
Energy packs are boosts of power and you can only receive
one energy pack per day so you need to make sure you use it at
the right time. Only members of your family can send you energy
packs, which makes it favourable to have a large family. If you
don’t have one available request one from a member of your
family. Using your energy pack when your mafia wars energy
level is almost depleted (10 or below) is the best option.
Energy packs fill up your total energy and give you a 25%
bonus. By making sure you only replenish your energy when it’s
really low, you’ll be able to make sure you get the most out of
your energy and complete more jobs. Your energy replenishes to
full plus 25% no matter what level your energy was at when you
used the pack. Therefore if you replenish your energy at say 40
instead of 10, you’ve essentially wasted 30 energy points.
Another tip is to keep an eye on your experience points and
avoid using your energy pack when you are only a few points
away from levelling up. The reason for this is because
levelling up restores all your stats and so your energy will be
restored fully anyway.
To keep your energy level high you need to have good weapons
and armour. This stops other people from being able to drain
your energy. In order to obtain good weapons and armour you’ll
need money so a good tip is to save all the money you earn from
doing jobs and sol ultimately help to keep your energy levels
high.
Another very frequent tactic is to also to use all your
skill points for mafia wars energy. As discussed previously
this will help you to complete jobs quicker, earn more money,
and move through the levels faster.
